2008 Youth Devolopment Program
U11 & U12 Girls

FIRE SC has decided to give back to youth soccer community in hopes of creating a group of players that are interested in training year round to develop their soccer skills. We are not looking for just the best players but players who are willing to develop their game year round with both training and games. This fall we will be holding a two day evaluation of players wishing to play U11 or U12 for the 2008 summer. Players will be allowed to play up if they think they are able to compete and would benefit from the competition.

What fees do I really have to pay?
Each player will need to pay the $35 evaluation fee. We will cover all of the other costs of the included program, MYSA fees, Indoor League, Uniforms, Professional training for all sessions. Their will be some other training programs that are extra and optional for players in the soccer club. Last year we offered a futsal league and a summer camp to all players in the club.

When are Try Outs?
We will be holding Try outs or evaluations on September 15th and 16th, 2008.

What will be do at try outs?
Each session will have about 30 minutes of skills training/warm up and 90 minutes of small sided games. Games will be 3v3, 4v4 and some 8v8. We will be trying to make each players show us the best they have. We want to see the potential of each player and the ability to compete against other players.

Do we really get to play for free?
Yes, NO hidden fees, you make the team you get a full year of professional training and playing!!

What additional programs are there?
We will be running a Futsal League, Speed & Coordination Training, more tournaments and a Summer Camp for players in the club. Players in this program may sign up for these at an extra cost. These programs will not be required by any of the players but will be encouraged to attend the summer camp as all players in the club normally attend.

When will teams be decided?
Each of the U11 and U12 Girls teams will be decided within one week of the evaluations. Players will be given one week to accept or reject their spot on the team.

Who will be coaching the teams?
We will have former FIRE SC players that have played college and are great with kids coaching the team during the summer. For winter sessions we will be having guest coaches come in to run sessions all of which will be great with kids and very knowledgable in the sport. After Try outs coaches will be named for each team as we don't know how many will be attending at this point.
